Gutters for Tuttle Homes, Fitted to the Roof Above Them

Gutters do quiet work until they stop. We install and repair one-piece aluminum gutters and downspouts sized to your roof, pitched to drain and tied into the drip edge, so you can plan the job in a dry month rather than after the fascia gives way.

Gutter Work From a Roofing Crew

A gutter is the last few inches of your roof's drainage system. When it sags, clogs or pulls away, water runs behind it into the fascia and soffit, spills over at the corners and pools along the foundation. Most of that damage builds slowly, which is why we would rather talk with you about gutters a season early than a season late.

Because we are a roofing company, we look at the gutters and the roof edge together. The drip edge, the last course of shingles and the fascia board all decide whether a gutter can do its job. Our crew brings 30+ years of roofing experience to that edge, and the work is done under our Oklahoma CIB roofing license.

What Our Gutter Service Covers

One-piece aluminum runs
We form gutters on site to the length of each wall, so the only joints are at corners and end caps. Fewer seams means fewer places for leaks to start.
Sizing for your roof
We match gutter width and downspout size to roof area and pitch. A steep, wide roof plane may call for 6-inch gutters and larger downspouts to keep up with a spring downpour.
Hidden hangers and proper pitch
Hangers go in at close, even spacing and screw into solid fascia. Each run gets a steady fall toward its outlet so water moves instead of sitting.
Fascia and drip edge check
Before anything goes up, we probe the fascia for soft wood and make sure the drip edge laps into the gutter. Rotted board is pointed out and priced before we replace it.
Downspouts that discharge away
We place downspouts where they can carry water well clear of the foundation, with extensions or splash blocks where the ground needs them.
Repairs and resealing
Not every gutter needs replacing. Loose hangers, leaking corners and short sections can often be repaired, and we will tell you plainly when that is the better use of your money.

Signs Your Gutters Need Attention

  • Water spilling over the edge

If rain sheets over the front of the gutter during a storm, it is clogged, undersized or pitched the wrong way.

  • Sagging or pulling away

A gutter that droops between hangers or leans off the house usually means failed fasteners or soft fascia behind them.

  • Stains and peeling paint

Dark streaks on siding or peeling paint on the fascia show where water has been running behind the gutter for a while.

  • Washed-out beds and pooling

Trenches in mulch, bare soil under the eaves or standing water near the foundation point to gutters that are not carrying water where it belongs.

  • Leaking seams and corners

Drips at joints after the rain stops mean the sealant has failed, which is common on older sectional gutters.

How a Gutter Job Runs

  1. 1

    A conversation by phone

You tell us what you are seeing and what you would like to plan for. We set a visit at a time that suits you.

  2. 2

    Measuring and checking the edge

We measure each run, note roof pitch and downspout locations, and check the fascia and drip edge. You get a written estimate with each item listed, including any wood that needs replacing.

  3. 3

    Installation day

We remove old gutters, repair fascia where agreed, then form and hang the new runs. Most homes are finished in a day, and we keep ladders off your plants and walkways.

  4. 4

    Flow check and cleanup

Before we pack up, a hose goes into the high end of each run so we can watch the water reach every downspout and leave the outlet. Old gutters, stray screws and metal offcuts are gathered up and hauled away with us.

What Shapes the Cost of Gutters

Gutter pricing comes down to how much material goes up, how hard it is to reach and what condition the wood behind it is in. We list each of these on your written estimate so you can budget before the work is scheduled.

Linear footage and corners
Total length, plus the number of inside and outside corners, sets most of the material and labor.
Gutter and downspout size
Larger 6-inch gutters and oversized downspouts cost more than standard sizes but handle heavy rain on bigger roof planes.
Height and access
Two-story walls, steep slopes below the eave and tight side yards add time and equipment.
Fascia repair
Soft or rotted fascia has to be replaced before new gutters can be hung securely, and that depends on what we find.
Add-ons
Gutter guards, extra downspouts and underground-ready outlets are optional and priced separately.

Gutter Questions We Hear Often

Something not covered here? (572) 228-3206

Should I replace my gutters before or after a new roof?

If a roof replacement is coming in the next year or two, it usually makes sense to do both together. The drip edge is replaced with the roof, and new gutters can be fitted to it cleanly. If your roof has years left, gutters can go up now and stay in place later.

Are 5-inch or 6-inch gutters better?

Five-inch gutters suit many single-story homes with moderate roof areas. Six-inch gutters carry noticeably more water and are a good choice for large or steep roof planes and long runs. We size them from your roof measurements, not by habit.

Do gutter guards stop all cleaning?

No guard ends maintenance entirely. A good guard keeps out leaves and most debris, which cuts cleanings down, but fine grit from shingles and seed pods can still collect. We will tell you whether guards make sense for the trees around your home.

Can you fix my gutters, or do they all need to come out?

Many gutter problems are small enough to fix in place. A hanger that has worked loose, a corner that drips or a single dented length can be dealt with for far less than a full new system. When the metal is thin or kinked, or the fascia behind it is breaking down, new gutters are the sounder long-term spend, and we will show you what led us there.

Can my gutters be checked along with the roof?

Yes. Our roof inspections include the edge, drip edge and gutters, which is a sensible way to plan both before spring storms. We will tell you plainly what needs work now and what can wait.
